Kernow calling

“Porthcothan”

I’ve sloped off across the border for a few days of family fun & sun at our favourite Cornish spot. Since the Bank holiday crowds have cleared out we’ve pretty much had the place to ourselves. Nice pulse of swell early in the week was pretty fun and with solid conditions predicted for the next couple of days it looks like its going to be interesting, just got to work out how many spots I can hit in 48hrs.

North Devon surf slideshow

I’ve been getting to grips with a few bits of software new to me…..always the source of lots of swearing. So I thought I’d post my latest attempt. Several hours of tinkering and messing and I’ve finally worked out how to embed my own flash movies rather than having to post on youtube.

Soundtrack is “kindom of rust” by the Doves. Love the track and “Oceans of trust” was a good tenuous link.

Low tide barrels, an insiders view….

Cotty_slottedAndrew Cotton testing out the HD camera board

This was an awesome low tide session in April, captured by myself from the safety of the beach and by Croyde plumber & hell-man Andrew “Cotty” Cotton from the thick of it. Read the rest of this entry »
