HISTORY was made on Tuesday when the country’s top 28 surfers rocked up for the first contest to be held at Lynmouth.
The Relentless Evolution Series was dreamed up with the idea of taking the best surfers to the best spots in the UK on the best day.

Well It’s been a massive effort, shackled to the computer for what seems and eternity sorting and editing, but photos from Goldcoast Oceanfest are now up and available to view. We had a great team of snappers again this year, with a couple of new additions. Well done to all involved

As head of the Goldcoast Oceanfest photography team, I’m responsible for dealing with the thousands of photos taken over the course of the 3 day festival. The 2012 team did a smashing job once again. All the Photos from 2008 to 2012 are here so have a look round and enjoy.

Croyde Surf Club are a hardy bunch and they proved that in spades on Sunday with the running of the Eyeball Surf Classic.
The first challenge of the morning was to get the marquee up and secured against the howling Westerly gale buffeting the bay, a feat that required greater number of heavy duty anchors than at any time in the clubs history, job done the BBQ was fired up the hot drinks flowed. “Sun, waves and burgers in the bay”

Croyde Surf Club ran the Steve McKewan memorial contest today, the delayed finale of the clubs 2010 season was a brutal test of endurance for the groms sent to test the monstrous conditions…..a historic moment saw the guys elect to surf the all-in Open shoot-out at the point where Ossian claimed victory.
