After a week and a half locked in a darken room sifting through thousands of images its finally safe to let them loose on the world. Yehaaa…glad I can finally announce the release of the Goldcoast Oceanfest 2009 photos. The lawyers have trawled through the galleries and declared Goldcoast 2009 good to go(that doesn’t mean there isn’t scandalous content though!).
The sun shone, the surf pumped and this intrepid crew took up the challenge to paddle to Croyde bay from Saunton Sands in aid of the charity project Paddle4relief.

Up early today for a bit of a strang one. Appledore book festival was launched this morning on Westward Ho! beach with the help of a replica World War 2 secret weapon. The Panjandrum, built by Starburst Fireworks, was fired at 7.30am as the dropping tide revealled the beach below the Pebble ridge. The 4oolb device proppelled by 36 rocket motors was an unknown quantity, with the authorities not taking any chances and closing a 1 mile strech of the beach.

Connor Spears – Croyde
After a few weeks of furious backroom activity from Cathrine and Chloe up at Journal HQ, its good to see the new improved Lineup ver2.0 go live. Yeah!!With surfing news, views, photos, videos, surfer profiles and more, I hope this becomes a good source of information for surfers and non surfers alike.
